Consumer related services are now a fully integrated part of our platform
We asked Founder & CEO Milan and his Co-Founder & Business Developer Andreas some questions about the expansion of the digital consumer platform.
We have bundled all relevant aspects of services in the real estate industry on our consumer platform. For us, digitalization always means simplification. To ensure smooth project management of service integration, the platform offers an overview and simplicity in service selection. All services for the real estate developer as well as the consumer are bundled in a central platform. The aim is to offer services that relate to the project and all relevant needs for the real estate developer and their consumers. Ultimately this becomes a perfect purchase experience for all consumers.
Milan, you have added additional services to Propster’s digital consumer platform. What is the difference between the digital consumer platform and the service platform?
First of all, these are not two different products, but rather a further development of our digital consumer platform. For us, the main focus is on covering the needs of consumers on the one hand, and on the other hand giving real estate developers the opportunity to optimize their customer service. We want to ensure that you as a home buyer, for example, can find all the services relevant to you on our platform and can also contact the respective service provider directly from the platform, in order to order the service directly via the platform in the end. The main goal for us is to provide a platform for the property developer or project developer, where their buyers, such as buyers, tenants and investors have the possibility to configure their project, apartment, house or office.
We connect all relevant project participants via our platform and offer a complete documentation during the entire project execution. Further developing our product with the service platform was a logical step for us. After all, this is how we take customer satisfaction to the next level.
Andreas, which new services can be accessed by the user. On which criteria is the selection of providers based?
At Propster we always develop new features close to the user. That means only features that are in demand from the users. We try to avoid imposing unnecessary features on the users. All services that finally make it onto the platform must absolutely achieve an undisputed added value for the purchaser. The range of services includes almost all services that can help the future user of the property with the construction as well as the relocation and commissioning. For example, in residential construction this includes assistance with a smooth move, with selected links to forwarding orders, the online application for no-parking zones to keep the parking space free directly in front of the apartment for the day of the move, comparison portals for relocation services and comparison portals for utility providers and much more.
Andreas, is there a service fee that the end customer has to pay?
In principle there are no service fees for the user. Since the project developer bears the costs for the buyer for making the platform available. Since we adapt our system to the corporate identity of the customer, the customer always provides the service to the purchaser in his own name. Depending on the selection made by the project developer, services such as interior design concepts for the apartment, office, house, ordering a construction site toilet and container service for house construction can of course also be integrated into the service platform. Since these are, however, third-party service providers, the user will of course incur correspondingly pre-determined costs in such cases.
We check all third-party providers in detail for the quality of their services. Only after this does a listing in our service catalogue follow. However, the user can clearly see which service would be subject to a fee and which is provided free of charge by the project developer.
Milan, where are the advantages for the project developer and the property developer, or do they get additional work?
By making the consumer platform in the design of the real estate developer available to the apartment buyer, the buyer always connects the additional services with the respective project developer or builder from whom he has purchased. Thus, this positive experience is always associated with the real estate developer. The real estate developer has no additional work, as the respective offer was negotiated by us for our customers with the service provider. We activate all services relevant for the purchaser. We can also respond to ideas of the property developer or project developer.
Milan, what other plans are there for the future?
We are increasingly focusing on the entire buying experience of real estate buyers. We therefore want to develop our product very closely to the needs of real estate developers and their customers. The integration of Virtual Reality as well as Augmented Reality are already high on our agenda during the product development. A further main focus will also be on the integration of other start-up services. We already have strategic cooperations with VISOPLAN, ROOMHERO, PLANRADAR and others in order to further advance the digitalization of the entire value chain.
Andreas, is a further expansion of services planned?
Of course! As mentioned before, we are not looking for features or services that users might need. Rather, we take any feedback seriously and try to offer the best solution as soon as possible. For example, we are currently receiving enquiries from property developers and administrators regarding the takeover of the entire laundry room operation, including production and maintenance. We are currently in the process of integrating such a service with the help of a well-known washing machine manufacturer as a selection option.
